Data Deletion Policy

Thank you for using SageSure — a MapleSage company. In compliance with Facebook Platform and data protection requirements, this page outlines the process for users to request deletion of their data collected through the SageSure app or related services.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

Option A – Email Request

Send an email to support@sagesure.io with subject line: "Data Deletion Request – Facebook App"

Include:

Your full name
The email address linked to your Facebook account
(Optional) Any additional details to help locate your data

Timeline:

Identity verification will occur
Request acknowledgment within 48 hours
Permanent deletion from active systems within 30 calendar days (unless legally required retention applies)

Option B – Automatic Deletion via API

Initiate deletion through the data deletion endpoint:

POST https://sagesure.io/api/v1/data-deletion-request

Include your Facebook account email or user ID in the request body.

2. What Happens After Deletion

All personal data connected to your Facebook account will be removed from SageSure systems and backups, except where legal or regulatory compliance requires retention.

This page fulfills Facebook's requirement for apps accessing user data by providing clear deletion request procedures.
